Professional information
Jennie qualified in dentistry from the University of Plymouth and completed Dental Foundation Training in South Wales. She has since developed a broad and well-rounded clinical skill set across practice settings in both the UK and overseas. Her approach to dentistry is calm, considered and patient-focused, with a strong emphasis on long-term oral health, comfort and trust. She takes time to understand each patient’s individual needs and is particularly mindful of those who feel anxious or have had difficult dental experiences in the past.
Jennie enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with a special clinical interest in the diagnosis and management of periodontal (gum) disease. Jennie takes a gentle, thorough approach to assessment and treatment planning, focusing on realistic, evidence-based solutions that support long-term stability and overall wellbeing.
Jennie has completed advanced surgical training in periodontal disease and is currently undertaking a Masters in Specialist Practice of Periodontal Therapy, enabling her to offer a wider range of treatment options for patients with persistent or complex gum disease. She also provides Invisalign orthodontic treatment and has undertaken further training in facial aesthetic (anti-wrinkle) treatments.
Jennie values a holistic approach to care and works closely with the wider dental team to ensure patients feel informed, supported and comfortable throughout their treatment journey.
I cannot recommend this practice enough! From the friendly reception team to the excellent dentists, everyone at Links makes the comfort of your visit a priority.
Personal information
Originally from the small town of Malmesbury in the South West of England, Jennie has always had a strong curiosity for travel and personal challenge. This has shaped both her personal life and professional journey, leading her to live and work in different parts of the world while continuing to develop her skills as a clinician.
Jennie recently returned to the UK after spending 18 months living in New Zealand and has travelled extensively through Asia, Australasia and Africa. Most recently, she travelled through Nepal and India, including trekking to Everest Base Camp.
Outside of dentistry, Jennie leads an active lifestyle and enjoys running, hiking and skiing. She is currently training for the Edinburgh Marathon and completed the Glencoe marathon last year. She finds that maintaining physical fitness plays an important role in managing the demands of a busy clinical career.
Jennie is engaged to her partner, Niall, and is now settled in Edinburgh with their Corgi, Kea. She enjoys balancing her professional development with time spent outdoors and exploring new challenges, the Scottish Munro’s are the next on her list!
The treatment to date has been first class. Everyone from my dental surgeons to the reception staff have treated me with professionalism and kindness. I was extremely nervous prior to my treatment beginning but my concerns were alleviated at my initial appointment. I’d have no hesitation in recommending Links dental practice to anyone looking to have dental treatment.
