Niall graduated from the University of Plymouth and has since gained a broad range of experience in both the UK and internationally. After completing his Foundation Training in Wales, he worked at an award-winning private practice in Wadebridge, Cornwall, providing high-end restorative care. He went on to work in mixed NHS and private practices in London before spending over a year in Queenstown, New Zealand, delivering high-quality general dentistry to a diverse patient base in a stunning mountain setting.

 

Niall enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but has a particular interest in restorative and implant dentistry. He is committed to ongoing professional development and is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is currently applying for a postgraduate MSc in Implantology with the Institute of Clinical Excellence (ICE) in Manchester.

 

He has completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Aesthetic Dentistry with Professor Paul Tipton in London and regularly attends CPD courses to stay at the forefront of modern techniques. He is also comprehensively trained in Invisalign, allowing him to offer advanced teeth straightening solutions that are both effective and minimally invasive.

 

Patients value Niall’s calm, approachable manner, and he takes pride in creating a relaxed environment, particularly for those who are anxious about dental treatment. He believes in clear communication and works closely with his patients to build long-term confidence in their oral health.

Although born in Edinburgh, Niall grew up in Northern Ireland and has recently returned to Edinburgh after living in Wales, England, and New Zealand. He enjoys staying active through running, cycling, hiking, and training for marathons. Outside of work, Niall loves travelling with his fiancée, Jennie they recently returned from an adventurous trip through Nepal and India, which included a two-week trek to Everest Base Camp.

 

Travel is one of Niall’s greatest passions. He has explored much of the world, from Europe and Asia to Africa, the Indo-Pacific, and the Americas. Despite his love for discovering new places, Edinburgh has always held a special place in his heart, and he’s excited to be settling back in the city.
